I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support. Libera corporation was founded by our predecessor Kenji Yamamoto in March 1974 as a domestic shipping corporation in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Later on, we entered the global shipping business and expanded our work by utilizing 4 interest factors: volatile chartering market, ship prices, exchange rates, and interest rates. At the same time, we entered the domestic shipping business, ferry and logistics business, and regional revitalization business with the aim of achieving more stable business management and on March 5th, 2024, we have been able to celebrate our 50th anniversary.

For the further promotion of our business activities and in anticipation of growing to a 100-year-old company, we have defined our “Mission Vision Value” in 2021. Under the vision of “Bring happiness from seas to the world,” we do not stick to existing business models and ideas, but create values with the changing times and environment. As we strive to continue to fulfill our responsibilities as a member of society, we would like to be a company that contributes to the improvement of people’s lives, society, and environmental protection.

To in anticipation of growing to a 100-year-old company, we aim to achieve a 100-ship system while keeping an eye on changing social and market conditions as time goes by, we will continue to take on challenges in step with the times, not staying only in the field of logistics. We aim to be a company that lasts for 100 years, growing as one so that we can deliver happiness to everyone in the world.
